Performing Arts

Westwood Charter School offers several after school activities to support its students. Please contact the main office to get more information on how to participate.

Instruments and Orchestra

If you are a member of the instrument or orchestra program, be sure to remember to bring your instrument to school every Tuesday!

Chorus

The Westwood Charter Chorus is open to students in grades three through five.  Chorus meets every Monday and Wednesday during lunch in Bungalow 2.

Westwood Charter Players

Westwood Charter Players is an after school drama program open to students in 3rd grade to 5th grade. It’s available on either Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Fridays for two hours each week starting at the end of September and running all the way to the end of the year- culminating in a full production in June.

Drama helps shy kids grow more confident in expressing themselves and offers the outgoing kids a place to strut their stuff.  It teaches kids how to work as a team. It gives the older kids the opportunity to lead and the younger kids great role models to work alongside. With our drama program lasting the full year we can see the progress your children make and feel very rewarded when it shows on their faces at the end of a successful year. Almost all drama kids come back the next year bringing even more personality and confidence with them. We're very proud of our drama kids.
