2012-13 Fund Drive Launches
Westwood Charter is more than a school. It is a community. One where all of us – teachers, parents and staff alike – work together with the sole focus of nurturing and educating our kids.
Please take the time now to consider how you can make a difference in your child’s school experience by supporting the Education & Enrichment Fund Drive. Donation forms and links to online donation via Paypal are available now on our Fund Drive page.
You can earn money for WISE every time you shop by using SCRIP Gift Cards. WISE will get a percentage of the amount you purchase--up to 15%! It's easy, to do, and great for Westwood Charter. Please click to get a copy of the online form or learn more from our SCRIP Gift Cards page. Hardcopies of the forms will be available in the main office.
For the upcoming purchase cycle, please remember to turn in your forms with payment to the main office by March 4th, then pick them up the week of March 18th in front of the school.
You can also earn money for Westwood Charters at retailers like Target, Amazon, TinyPrints, and GoodShop. Please see the Fundraise While You Shop page for more links and to learn how you can earn money for Westwood Charter.

Thank you to those parents who have already donated to the Education & Enrichment Fund Drive! Our parent and teacher community has always been the core of Westwood Charter. Our experience over this past year, has taught us all once again the power of our community and what is possible to achieve when parents and teachers work together in the best interest of our children.
As most of you know, our goal is to achieve 100% participation in the fund drive. Many of the school's critical needs are not covered by the funds we receive through LAUSD and must be paid for by the parents through WISE. We are asking your family, and every family who has not yet made a contribution to the Fund Drive, to share in these costs, just as each child shares in the benefits of these programs.
Parents will be in front of school at drop off on April 23rd and 24th with donation forms. Also, you will see a tree go up in front of each classroom. Once a classrooms tree is filled with green leaves to represent 100% contribution from the students in that class, we will give a celebratory party to that class. Please help by giving today! If we Give Together, we Grow Together.
Please see the Fund Drive page for more information on the 2012-13 drive and links for online donation via Paypal or via printed forms.
