Do you want to go green? Lately we have been finding items in the recycling bins that shouldn’t be there, like food, Mylar, and beverages. Green Team monitors find these objects, and some see this happen after telling people that you shouldn’t do this. We have also been having issues with respect for the people who volunteer and give up their recess to show you what to recycle and help you recycle, too. I have had some experiences with people being rude to us when we were volunteering. People have asked why we’re wasting our time and have been putting in soiled trash in the bins. My friend Jake E. had to clean out cheese and things from the recycling bins for his whole duty on green team. Student Council asks that you all be kinder to the green team volunteers who give up playtime and do everything possible to help our earth. Thank you!
