Dear Westwood Families,
For the last six weeks of this school year, Ivy Cass and I have the privilege of serving as co-principals of your wonderful school. I’d like to thank you for making both of us feel so welcome. It has been a very busy time with CST testing, finalizing the budget, updating the school’s charter, organizing end of the year activities and culmination, and planning for next year, but the entire staff has pulled together and worked hard to make sure Westwood Charter is running smoothly and children are thriving.
As we enter the final stretch of the 2012-2013 school year, I would again like to thank you for all that you do for the school. Teacher Appreciation Week was wonderful—the food, the flowers, and the gifts were truly appreciated. Together, we can provide an excellent education for your children.
I also want you to know that the Principal Selection Committee has started meeting and will be working hard through May and June. We will keep you updated as to its progress.
