Enrollment

Enrollment Lottery Update (5/2/2013):  Lottery lists for all classes have been posted.  Please see links below for each class list.

Westwood Charter School is open to all residents and welcomes all students; however, first priority is given to children within our enrollment boundaries.

Residential boundaries for enrollment are in between North Santa Monica Boulevard and Pico Boulevard, and Sepulveda Boulevard and Century Park East.

Space permitting, non resident students are selected by public lottery.  Non residents may apply by filling out a lottery card beginning in March of the year of enrollment. The public random drawing to establish a ranked list for openings in the fall was held April 29, 2013.  Westwood Charter will not know until September if we will be enrolling any lottery students in any grades for 2013-14, so lottery applicants should make alternate plans.

Each students was given a student ID number and a ranking lottery number.  The student ID number along with Name/Last Name Initials can be used to find out the applicant's lottery number in the lists. The lottery results for 2013-14 are available below (as of 4/29/2013):

Westwood Charter School has approximately 800 students.

The majority of our kindergarten children are from the local neighborhood.

Westwood Charter School is committed to enrolling a student population reflective of the ethnic and cultural diversity of the Los Angeles Unified School District.

The TK Program will continue in 2013-2014 school year.
